Four Fun Things: Spring is Coming

Four Fun Things: Spring is Coming

Warm sun rays, blue sky, and longer days are on the way. Some of the biggest and best events in Everett are scheduled to kick off the Spring season. Make sure to mark your calendar for these upcoming events.

EVERETT FARMERS MARKET

Beloved by all, the Everett Farmers Market will be back at our new, favorite location - downtown Everett. It opens on Mother's Day, May 10, for its 27th season and will be open every Sunday through early October. Parking is ample and free so plan on making it a weekly stop for fruits, vegetables, baked goods and other delicious handmade goodies.

FISHERMAN’S VILLAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL

We don’t need to drive to Seattle for a first-class, full-force music festival anymore because we have Fisherman’s Village Music Festival. The 3-day festival kicks off its 7th year on May 14 with over 50 bands, food trucks, beer garden and vendors selling locally made goods. You don’t want to miss Everett’s largest music festival of the year.

CRUZIN’ TO COLBY

Cruzin’ to Colby is an Everett institution and brings thousands to downtown Everett. Kicking off its 21st season on Saturday, May 23 of Memorial Day Weekend, the free 3-day event will have live music, food and drink, vendors, parties and classic cars of course.

SORTICULTURE

Every June, Legion Park in North Everett is transformed into a gardener's dream. There will be ideas aplenty, beautiful plants and handcrafted art for purchase. Plan to make a day of it and take in the music and lectures. Food trucks will be on site to sustain you. This free event brings a big crowd and parking is limited so plan to take the shuttle. They will have a pick-up area so you can drive back to collect all your garden finds. Mark your calendar for June 12-14.
