Not Quite Lunch: Our 4 Favorite Brunch Spots
We can’t wait to get outside on a weekend morning and enjoy some brunch now that the weather is starting to warm up. Who doesn’t love that golden hour of food and drink between breakfast and lunch (and also the excuse to drink mimosas or a Bloody Mary or two)?
Here’s some of our favorite places for brunch.
New Mexicans
1416 Hewitt Ave, Everett, WA 98201
The New Mexicans offers massive Southwestern-style dishes for brunch, so come hungry. Their Huevos Rancheros or biscuits and gravy are where it’s at. Wash it all down with a Bloody Mary that includes seasonal vegetables.
Grilla Bites
1020 1st St #104, Snohomish, WA 98290
One of our favorite vegetarian spots, Grilla Bites offers both breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups and more, meat-free. Don’t forget to get a fresh smoothie!
Ellie’s at the Airport
18218 59th Ave NE, Arlington, WA 98223
Want to watch airplanes land while tucking into a sandwich? Head to Ellie’s at the Airport in Arlington to sit outside on their deck and watch the Arlington airport at work. Pilots even pull their planes right up to the restaurant for a bite. Go for the French toast or their tasty burgers.
Chantrelle
316 Main St, Edmonds, WA 98020
Featuring eight (!!!) brunch drinks, Chantrelle in Edmonds has some of the best brunch options around. They also have a “midfare menu” that isn’t quite lunch or dinner, making this spot a great option for people who respect and enjoy second breakfast (and lunch).
